BRAR (AR/BR) Indicator Explained

BRAR is a sentiment pair from Asian technical analysis. AR compares how far bars stretch above vs below their opens; BR does the same around the previous close. Together they read the crowd's mood: AR the session's initiative, BR the overnight conviction.

How It Works

• AR = Σ(high − open) ÷ Σ(open − low) × 100 over the window.
• BR = Σ(high − prev close) ÷ Σ(prev close − low) × 100.
• 100 is neutral; far above = froth, far below = despair.

How to Trade It

Classic readings: AR/BR sinking to deep lows (~50–70) marks capitulation worth buying with confirmation; extreme highs (~300+) mark euphoria to fade or de-risk. BR spiking far above AR suggests overnight enthusiasm outrunning session reality — a fragility tell.
